Who Are We?

We started in the Victor Valley in May 1914, in a small schoolhouse; our first church was on the corner of 5th and B Street.
We opened our second church on the corner of 5th and A Street in April 1951.
We moved to our present church in April 1973 and completed our education wing in 1994.
The United Methodist Church of Victorville is a part of the East District of the California-Pacific Conference of The United Methodist Church.
The mission of the California-Pacific Conference is to give congregations direction so we may:
          • know Christ and make Christ known
          • affirm unity and honor diversity
          • build vital communities of faith
          • provide the highest quality ministry
          • share resources to realize our corporate goals, and celebrate our identity as United Methodists.
